VHS to USB

A USB stick is the simplest way to hold decades of family video in the palm of your hand. VHS was the format that filled everyone's shelves through the 80s and 90s, but the tape itself degrades with age and every play — and few of us still own a working player. Getting those tapes onto a USB means they're safe, and finally easy to watch again.
We digitise each VHS tape on professional decks and save your videos as high-quality MP4 files onto a USB stick, ready to plug straight into a modern TV or computer. Every file is quality-checked for picture and sound, and clearly named so your family can find the wedding or the Christmas morning in seconds.
The USB is posted back together with your original tapes, tracked, anywhere in Australia — or collect it from our Collingwood studio. Prefer to also watch online? Add a private Family Gallery and you'll have both: one to hold, one to share.
$35.00 per tape
Flat price, every format. Blank or unreadable tapes are always refunded.
Common questions
Will the USB play on my TV?
In most cases, yes. Your videos are saved as MP4 files, which modern smart TVs, computers and media players all read directly from a USB port.
Can I fit many tapes on one USB?
Usually, yes — we'll size the USB to your order so all your videos fit comfortably on one stick, neatly organised.
Do I get my original tapes back?
Always. Your tapes are posted home with the USB, or handed back at pickup. We never keep or dispose of your originals.
